OUR DENTISTS

Dr. Kevin Monroe

DDS, PA

Dr. Monroe received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He established Mt. Island Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 2004. He has been practicing dentistry since 1993.

Dr. Monroe has special interest in family and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.

Dr. Courtney Deskus

DDS

Dr. Deskus received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from North Carolina State University and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from both universities. Dr. Deskus has been practicing at Mt. Island Family Dentistry since 2009 and is co-owner with Dr. Monroe.

Dr. Deskus has special interest in the fields of cosmetic and pediatric dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
